Dafna Laurie, LAc

Dafna is a nationally board certified acupuncturist, licensed in Virginia and California. She received her Masters degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbalism in 2008 from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture. After an 9-month in-depth apprenticeship with a world renowned acupuncturist, Dafna began her practice in LA. She spent 12 years in Los Angeles running her successful private practice which organically expanded into a wellness center. Dafna also has training in medical Qi Gong and has been a yoga instructor since 2005. Dafna supports patients with a wide array of concerns, including musculoskeletal pain, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, migraines, digestive concerns, autoimmune disorders, women’s health, fertility, and pediatric care. Acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, vitamin supplementation, and lifestyle play a large role in Dafna’s healing practice.

Having practiced now for over 16 years, Dafna continued her studies by diving deeply into fertility and pregnancy support, pediatric care, psycho-social-emotional health, and most recently, she completed a year-long program in functional medicine specializing in women’s health.

Eleanor Reitz, LMT

Eleanor graduated in 2018 from the American Massage & Bodywork Institute in Vienna, VA. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Contract - Relax Stretching. Eleanor’s primary focus is on healing, pain relief, and increasing mobility. Her passion for the healing arts is rooted in a desire to be of service to others. Her time serving in the United States Army taught her a great deal about herself, her place in the world and what purpose she was to serve between them. Eventually, her duty turned from country to family. It was through the process of recovering from a serious back injury while caring for her daughter that she looked to the natural world to heal her injuries and spirit. Eleanor is currently studying to become a Master Herbalist at the Washington Institute of Natural Medicine.

Laurel Potter, Front Desk Admin, ESTI

Laurel is a multi-state licensed Esthetician and the Front Desk Administrator for Abracadabra Massage & Wellness. She graduated from the Paul Mitchell School - Sacramento in 2022 before moving back to Virginia, where her passion for skin health as a means of whole-self care inspires her facials. Laurel values empathy, and her college and career background in Communications cultivates her understanding of clients’ needs. In her free time, Laurel loves caring for her body and spirit through yoga, hiking, and volunteering.

Cheryl Woods, LMT, CST, RP

Cheryl graduated in 2004 from the Myofascial College of Utah and went on to study advanced techniques at the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in New York, graduating in 2007. Cheryl blends her specialized skills, including Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy, to address issues such as chronic pain, anxiety, and repetitive strain injuries. Her abilities range from corrective bodywork to deep relaxation massage, with a strong somatic approach with her clients. Cheryl has attended multiple trainings with the John Barnes Myofascial Release Group and is a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner. Cheryl’s mission is to support people living with chronic pain and stress to befriend their body. Using techniques like Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy and Therapeutic Massage she creates a unique space for clients to shed holding patterns and pain that no longer serve this present moment. Her work at the table is intuitive, meditative and effective.

Deidre Payne, LME, RP

Deidre is a Master Esthetician and certified Reiki practitioner. She has long had a passion for skin and haircare and in 2021, decided to pursue an education in skin therapy. After achieving the title of Esthetician through the Esthetic Institute she decided to further her education and gained her Master Esthetician title in the very next year. During her studies she learned the importance of up to date research and compassion. Deidre has a deep understanding of the skin in order to specialize in both aging and acne prone skin. She believes in caring for the skin from the inside out. Her goal is to help people learn about their skin in both a results driven, and relaxing manner.

Katherine Schaepman, LMT

Katherine employs her knowledge to amplify your self-care. She incorporates techniques from Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, and Lymphatic Drainage to aid your ability to relax, recharge, and heal. In 2007, Katherine graduated from the Virginia School of Massage in Charlottesville, VA. She continued her education at the Florida College of Natural Health in Orlando, FL. Upon completion in 2008, she received an Associates Degree for Business and Spa Management.

Eliza Wilcox, Doula, RP

Eliza is a doula, birth educator, reiki practitioner, and mother of four. Her journey towards the healing arts began in early maternity with an uncanny intuition and inclination to help other mothers. She dedicated herself deeply to this exploration. In 2015, her battle with Lyme disease led her to purchasing the Ozone Sauna. She discovered that, beyond relieving her symptoms, the potential of this treatment was far-reaching and broad in scope. Eliza has worked with Ozone for over 5 years. She hopes to share the potential benefits of the Ozone Sauna and to support, educate, and empower her clients.
